Need a little help! After more than 10 years I started having
new symptoms in my left (the good one) leg. My left leg has always had
pins needles...but this weekend I had the burning (freezing) sensation
and although it has not gotten worse..it has not gone back to what I
call normal. I
Rob,
I was afflicted with TM in 2000. Recently I began having new symptoms and
increased pain during the Medication Valleys. I went for an MRI which showed
a cinching in at the level of my lesion (C5). The demyelination was followed
by scarring, and the scarring contracted causing the

I just received an e-mail from Dr. Kerr. He said he would be
extremely surprised if after 10 years I am having a relapse! He did
suggest and will prescribe an MRI of the thoracic spine ( to ease my
mind). This will be the first MRI in 10 years so it can't hurt to have
it done...my biggest
Rob, I know I've only had this 3 years and have different symptoms here and
there quite often but the rest doesn't seem to change. I always have the
burning/freezing plus the pins and needles, worse on the left but have had
it from the start. I just keep on with my water therapy and soon a
Your e-mails always make me laugh, Frank!!
These are some things to ask Dr. Kerr in Seattle. Your 'cinching' situation
is interesting. I wonder 'why now' and what are your new symptoms?

Hi again, Rob...
I was just thinking of all of the different stories we have all shared. One
of them came to mind in that it talked about how we can't 'walk' the same
(those of us who are so blessed to be able to do that) and when we do our
unbalanced gait will cause spinal issues. I'll be
Rob, Get it checked out. I know you are scared. All of us that have had
relapses were scared too. But the sooner you see the Dr. the better. Let us
know how you are doing, ok! And just so you know I have had times where my
symptoms increased and it was a relapses and times when it wasn't.
I just got off the phone with Jude.can't add much to what Pam has
already told us. they have her on Vancomycin which is the antibiotic for
MRSA
along with seven other antibiotics. They will do a six week course and then
take a break and then another six week course of the

That has happened to me and others a few times -- just a technical glitch, I

I am also C4-C5 but my damage is only central neuropathy syndrome.
Everything still works but I feel as though I am being electrocuted

We live in the Fontana, Riverside Area, Kaiser members. Anyone have any
experience with a Nuero that knows TM?? Any suggestions as how to locate one?
All suggestions welcome. Dee for Art diagnosed about 2003. Not walking, depends
on scooter. Can stand with support. Takes very slow baby steps.
Naomi,
I wouldn't call it a happy anniversary but I've decided it's still
good to be alive. There is some question as to whether I can call my
sensations Central Pain Syndrome or not because I don't have the
three forms of pain defined, which include things like intolerance to
