Banding is a tight, or bandlike feeling that one gets at the sensory level.
Mine is under the breasts. It's very uncomfortable, but not painful. Since
being prescribed Tegretol for dystonic spasms, my banding has decreased.

II have had extreme banding since the onset of my TM. Recently, I have had
it around my legs and thighs, brought on by two huge dicubitus ulcers on my
bum. It is a totally different feeling than spasms.
Spasms feel like tight muscles and banding feels like something is wrapping
itself around

so I'll take this to mean there's little, if any, inflammation/demyelination
still existing. If I'm wrong, I don't want to know, cause that thought makes
me feel better already! :)

I, too, have never gotten clear answers about this. My pains are minimal, but
