If the text in your post below is correct, then your problem is that it's workers.properties, not worker.properties. Leaving out the s on workers will cause the behavior you're describing, and it's easy to do.

1. jdk1.2.2 / jdk1.3 or some other JVM if u like
2. then install tomcat (binary release is there , so u don't have to do anything)
3. check the stand alone tomcat

I have been able to run NT 4.0 + IIS + TOMCAT (also on
