I use the HTC Desire (not HD), and can recommend it to both crazyj and pippin. I'm happy with it. Quick, stable (probably just because I haven't hacked it silly), and the hardware is surprisingly non-flimsy for that kind of phone. It also runs SqueezeCommander well. The only gripe I have is that

To each their own, but I dont think you are being fair to HTC. Its a first generation Android phone. If one continually updates ones OS on older generation phones, problems occur. Take iOS4 and ipod Touch 2Gs and Iphone3Gs. That update essentially destroyed those devices. Be gentle to me, Ive b
