I believe the Touch has a 30 day money back guarantee. Why not try it in
your system and decide for yourself?
I had a Lavry DAC I used with a SB3 that I sold after I got a Touch.
Other people have reached different conclusions. Trying it yourself is
the only way for you to know for sure.

It's very easy to operate, and sounds great for the money.
I tried 3 dac's so far and the results are quite remarkable.
The first dac I tried was the one I already had on my (previous) SB
Classic, namely the wellknown
I was thinking about the Qnap TS-119P+ Turbo NAS. Will that be powerfull
enought to run squeeze server. at a decent level.

I am using Qnap ts-119 with 1.5TB WD HD. In my library i have 3200 CDs
in Flac. SB Server and SBT are working very well with Qnap.

Thanks Alco, that is really good feedback. I will check out your DAC, I
prefer the smooth refined sound so it may be what I'm looking for. I
noticed that the SBT sounds pretty good until you turn it up a bit,
then it is not so good. I still love it though.

I just got my squeeze box touch and i'm having problems getting it to
connect to my SB sever.
I have been using squeeze play with no problem and most of the time
ipeng with my itouch works.
i set it up on mysqueezebox.com account and i can play internet radio,
i just cannot access my library
Be careful about NOS (Non OverSampling ) dac's they are based on the
somewhat flawed principle that oversampling is not good and they often
don't have any analog filter at all ? bizarre .
This produces residual hf noise sampling frequency thats goes
unfiltered to your system . On cd this will
119P+ seems to got some upgrades compared to previous models 1,6gHz
marvell cpu it's an ARM of some kind just like the Touch itself. and it
now have 512mB Ram that's is not the weakest kind of NAS so it has
potential to work :)
With that NAS your better off than the Touchs own server and have
