Our local dealer has a nice occasion for the Touch, but without

Iirc you are able to download the update and put it on a USB stick. The
downloads may be found at:

How is your Touch connected to the internet?
P.S.: Isn't there a home menu entry in the settings?

So John, do you know which files to edit on the Touch, or is this the
part which needs more work ?

The easiest way to fix your problem is to try and get the Web UI working
on the machine which you have installed SBS on (which I gather is a
Vista PC?)
Can you open the Web ui?
Does it show your Touch in the list of connected players (top right

Yeah, I've been using that for ages. It doesn't transcode HDCD to

Hi
I always use my Touch with a hard drive directly connected as I hate
having my noisy PC on whilst listening to music. I have found that
each time I connect the hard drive it scans the whole drive, which can
take a very long time. Of course, the time can be reduced by removing
all
1) don't have anything but music files on the disk
2) stop removing the disk
Simples :-)

I did some work on this over the weekend, unfortunately it turns out it
cannot be done with the existing firmware. There is a program on the

Its very easy to modify
