Hi Guys,
Shame on some of you - you obviously didn't keep everything crossed

The Touch's inbuilt server is capable of Syncing far more than two
additional players. If Spotify has a player limit on Sync'd number of
players I dunno.
Spotify will only play on the Touch or the Radio, older SB players
cannot play the official Spotify App.

yes Touch can handle multiple players old or new but as it can not run
plugins it can not handle spotify for older players .
The final decryption must reside in the player for official support ,
that is The deal logitech and spotify have done .
Triodes Plugin can wiggle past that and serve old

With the cpu and memory it has it would hardly be able to push data at
that speed anyway . and 100 is more than enough for music

What is logitech planning next after squeezebox touch?
Shuttering the Squeezebox business unit I'd expect.

I gotta say I'm a glass half empty guy in these speculation threads, but
the fact they're updating the firmware, per Mickey's sticky (heh), gives
me hope.
I actually think most of the work to make Squeeze more successful is on
the backend, so I'm hoping they put the effort in there before
no they hardly need new products when the current software don't utilise
the products full potential.
Now they have an oficial Andriod app, maybe an oficial iPhone/IPad app
imho the existing apps are great but some people/custommers feels more
secure if the mother company also provides apps.
I'm wondering if what you are seeing is an interruption to the server.
Please post the log here.

The Spotify site specifically limits SqueezeBox playback to the Touch
and Radio as far as hardware players.
Yes, you can control Spotify on a Touch or Radio using the Duet
Controller, but I'll bet it is not playing on your Duet Receiver.
;)
Plugins cannot be installed on the Touch.

Yes there is a cooperation between the official app and Triodes plugin ,
the exaxt nature of it ? I don't know have not shelled out for premium

So by having the plugin and the app installed you can use them together
in some way .

Hello,
I've installed the 7.6 beta version on SBS and as expected the
SqueezeBox Touch got also updated to the latest firmware.
However it seems that the SBT get updated quite a lot (to the point of
being annoying). Is it the expected behavior ?
If yes, can I somehow block the updates ?
Thanks
Yes, that is expected. Why are you running 7.6 ?

I SAID ALL OF THEM !

to say that the Squeezebox line of devices days are numbered but looks

Many, if not most, of the newer streaming devices are UPnP

Is this suppose to happen and if so, how long does the new FLAC albums
