Hi
I am now really frustrated with this issue. My sb touch seems to keep
waking up my Mac mini. This even though I have PleaseSleep installed,
and my sleep setting is 2 hours. But everyday when I return from work I
see my Mac mini awake, and a bit warm which means it's been on for a

When you set the brightness control to automatic, the Touch calculates
the light intensity of its surroundings, and matches its brightness

will be high. The minimum brightness is only set when it's dark

Better solutions than these probably exist, but here are a couple easy
options:
1) power off the Touch (ie, pull the plug or use a power strip with a
switch)
2) switch the Touch to mysqueezebox.com when you want the Mac mini to
sleep, and switch back to local SBS on the Mac mini when you want

I believe the official Spotify App can be used without a computer or SBS

Are you running the unofficial third party Spotify Plugin (which does
require PC+SBS server) or the official Spotify App via

I logged onto my router and I can see it's definitely 192.168.0.4 under
attached devices. Normally I use my laptop and a web-based browser to
access the NAS. I took the network cable that connects the NAS to the
router, and plugged it directly into my laptop. Still nothing.
