If you uninstall everything you'll lose all your settings, etc. Do you
want to do this?
Maybe nothing to lose at this point!?
Use Control Panel to uninstall. Then use file explorer to delete the
following directories:
C:\Program Files\Squeezebox
C:\ProgramData\Squeezebox
Then do a fresh inst

Ok will try that however, the dialogue box (User Account Control) that
always comes up when I click the short cut on the desktop refers to a
programme called SqueezeTray.exe is this the problem & how do I get
that past the firewall tvm

In my system it usually requests access only when it is newly
installed.
First, switch off Kaspersky. Then try it again.

I meant multi format DAC rather than SACD itself. I just want to play
everything I can get. What matters is the mastering. The best digital
version available may be DCC Gold (CD), MoFi SACD layer, HDTracks
