mac should be different it is unique for every player.
Different email ? Then you have two accounts go to mysqueezebox.com log
in to the " wrong account " delete all players from it , factory reset
the player that was conected to wrong account register again at the
correct account.

is listed as follows:
- Type: Squeezebox Touch
- Status: Connected
- Connected from: 174.91.34.85
- Player MAC address: 00:04:20:23:00:64
The 2nd player:
- Type: same
- Status: same
- Connected: same
Only difference is MAC Ad

If you are using the remote server mysqueezebox.com did you register
them at the same account ?
Otherwise it may be as gary sugested one is on the local server and one
is on mysqueezebox.com

Hi
I have 2 sbt in different rooms connected wirelessly to a single pc.
One touch is for my own use and the other one for kids. Obviously kids
and I have different musical tastes.
currently both touch connect to a single music library and every
playlist I create or delete affects both the units.

No, when we scroll through the artists, it only goes up to 'K' - I find
it strange that it's stopped back on 4,000 tracks.
Is there any logs I can post here so the technical headed folks can
have a quick look at for us?

Hello,
We've just bought the Squeezebox Touch, and when we run the scanner, we
instantly get the "Media Scan Terminated Unexpectedly (Scanning
Progress)" message under the scanning bar, without adding any tracks
from iTunes into the server.

Yes attenuators is the way to go !
The quads are usually very sensitive some models are at full volume <
0,5 volt input .
You gain better SN all the time, when needed I used to have the
rothwell attenuators in my system they have 10dB as a stock value .
But do the math maybe you need more

Yes, this is what I do, as I'm 12ft from my system. I got lucky and
found a new one for $169 on Amazon.

I'm not sure that I'm qualified to comment on points 1 and 2.
3) The SB implementation of searching in Spotify doesn't filter out
tracks which you can't play in your region; the desktop version will

If you already have the Yamaha then I guess the obvious answer is to try
it & see.
