having operating my Squeezebox Touch using SqueezeCommander on my
Android phone.
I recently replaced my old WinXP desktop PC with a new Windows 7 one. I
use this as a music server running LMS, as I did with the old PC. All

the touch is connected via network cable and is connected to the
converter via the coaxial digital output, but when I hear 24 bit/192 kHz
files there are some small gaps, I tried various options (buffer tuning
experimental) without getting good results.
What can I do?

I got a Touch today. Set it up ok, and it did connect to my local LMS.
Then I had to stop and restart the server, and after that the Touch
would not connect locally.
After some trouble I found a problem with my computer network
connection, but solving that did not help with the touch. And
The Squeezebox experience is incredible, when you start manipulating the
tagging as you wish.
The main tags that you need to decide how you will manage are are:
artist name
album artist name
album name
song name
genre
year
As long as you get those done right, you probably dont have to worry

My first thought is for you to check the IP address used by the Touch.
Is it in the same range as the rest of your subnet? Second, when you
open LMS and go to Settings, then the Player tab, does the Touch
show up there? Have you tried pulling the power on the Touch, waiting a
minute and then
I waited until 9/3 to order a Touch from Amazon. They went from in
stock on 9/2 to 1-3 weeks on 9/3. Their other vendors prices have gone
up, some claim current stock.
