Thanks for your kind answer. Updating the database: I selected 'my music' and then hit the 'music folder' button for the folder where the file is located. Should I do something else or different? thehague's Profile: http://

What are the file names? By that I mean what are the titles when you look at them *without* using a media player? I had an issue with tracks ripped from DVD-A yesterday where they would not appear in the correct order in Foobar, despite all the tags being correct. The names from ripping were the p

I received a NIB Touch recently and so far I can't get 24/96 playback to work. I'm trying to play 24/96 needledrops that I've listened to dozens of times with the SB3 and Roku2. The Touch plays 24/48 files without a problem, but when fed 24/96, I'm just getting a very low level high-frequency so

Touch works just fine with 24/96 on digital outs, so something definitely not right with your player or something on your server. Touch plays FLAC natively. I'm assuming these are 24/96 FLAC? If ALAC or WAV, I'd double check my file handling settings in LMS > Settings > Advanced > file types.

Okay, I tried to play files via USB and SD. I used 3 FLACs, a 24/96, a 24/48, and a 16/44.1. Same deal - the 24/96 wouldn't play, the others would. Note that the Touch seems to think it is playing the songs...the display counts the seconds and the meters move as if music is playing. I just tri

The server is running on a dedicated PC with plenty of power and Debian for the OS. That shouldn't be an issue. The files shouldn't be an issue, as they play fine on other devices. Pale Blue Ego's Profile: http://forums.s

I did a factory reset and the problem remains. Reinstalled the firmware 7.7.3 and no luck. If I try to install an earlier 7.7.2 firmware, which .bin file do I use? Is it the baby_7.7.2_r9663.bin? Pale Blue Ego's Profile:

Just a thought - how is the Touch connected - WiFi or Ethernet? I've noticed that if the WiFi signal strength is low the data can struggle to get through, especially for higher res files. If you are using WiFi it might well be that, with a less than optimal signal strength, it can handle 16/44 bu
