Thanks for your help. However, I haven't spoken Martian in a while and
can't quite grasp what to do! :P
I have my LMS on a QNAP Nas. If I need to mess with the coding, I guess
it would be too much for me.
Thanks anyway.

Hi.
There is this local (Chinese) radio station that I could play using an
Android phone via MX player app but could not get to work via SBT.
It used to be on this: mms://maclive.881903.com/cr2
and it worked on the SBT long ago but I understand that it no longer
works.
Now, it is on this

Should be on the same page where you select analog, digital or usb out

Should be on the sbt, but I can't recall where it is exactly.

I think it has more to do with your sbt setting than the dac. If the dac
is not 192 capable, it'll usually just be silent or make ugly noise. I
would check if you had actually enabled Edo properly. I remember in the
Edo menu, you can actually see what frequency is being output.

As far as I know, both Synology (which the posters above have mentioned)
and QNAP (which I'm using my 2nd one already) have "built-in" software
packages of LMS that makes installation easy (unless you really must
have the latest versions, which may require a little further work).

I Just upgraded to 7.7.3 with qnap

I have been using Edo into USB for some while. Recently I dug up some
old 24/96 wav to play, but I got nothing but noise. Those files played
fine way back when there was no Edo. However, flac plays fine up to
24/192 and 16/44 wav play fine. Is this normal?
Thanks.

I just recently discovered that LMS (Web UI) can actually see the music
in my DLNA server (where I store my lossy stuff) and make the Touch play
them (again, using the web interface). Is it possible for the SBT (or
even my SB controller) see that archive and play from there? Or is the

Just to clarify, the way it works is: connect DAC, download kernel #11
(or is it 12?), let it reboot and it sees the DAC?
Thanks

Thanks.
I should still be on 7.7.2.
Can you share a little more as to how you made it work before?
Thanks a lot.

Just installed the Kernel updated to see if EDO can work with my
Esoteric K-03, which I hope would work similarly to Teac's lower end
DAC's which also seem to use Tenor chips (To work with a PC, the
Esoteric needs drivers which says Galaxy Far East something, which leads
me to think that it should

Sorry if I am a little bit lost amongst these 160+ pages of this
thread.
I read somewhere that TE8022 (which I think my Esoteric K-03 uses) can
actually be supported by EDO, but there is something about selecting a
kernel #11. I don't quite recall seeing this selection menu. Would
anyone be kin
Thanks a lot!
The app works like a charm, and without the need to remove TT3.0, too
(so it seems). Now happily streaming 176 and 192 via coaxial into my
Esoteric K-03. Have not tried USB yet, since I often have to switch the
Esoteric back into CD player mode and from what I read here, the SBT

Yes, only when changing sample r
probably more like a static

would cause damage to the tweeters in the long term.

Thanks.
Didn't notice that happening with the Duet (which would go from 44 to
48) before.
Guess I just have to be careful with the volume knob then.

least, it is sort of annoying. Is there anyway
to avoid this? BTW, I have soundcheck's tt3.0 running, too.
Thanks.
