Long ago I wrote up some of my notes on how to find stream URLs (see the

I have the feeling that the cause of the noise was something to do with
the data from the wifi getting into the audio stream. No idea how, of
course. So far, it has behaved perfectly since the factory reset.

IIRC original Touch had a micro speaker and a microphone. Don't know if
they got omitted in later production runs.

I took it to the office this morning and all was fine for about 2 hours
before the dreaded rushing noise again, from both the amplifier
connected to the Touch as well as the Touch's built-in speaker. Again
the only way to kill this was to unplug the unit from the power source.

Yes, same as Touch connecting to MySB.com. But no guarantee that will

Hi Toby, no, it did this irrespective of which IR station it was tuned
to. I was pretty disgusted at a brand new unit having this issue so did
not even bother playing with it this weekend. I will be taking it to

Yeah, that may be true and a great benefit to the OP who specifically
wants TuneIn. Personally, I don't use TuneIn at all so if/when MySB.com
disappears my main use of SB vanishes with it. :(
What's your main use?

The SB Touch *does* have it's own inbuilt server (Tiny SB), you don't
need to have Logitech Media Server (LMS) running on a PC, nor do you
