I want to get list of pre-installed packages with Trisquel 7.0 LTS (Belenos).
In case of Ubuntu I used to find example:
"ubuntu-14.04-desktop-i386.manifest" from http://releases.ubuntu.com/trusty/
So Where can I find ontents of live filesystem or packages that comes with
OS?

I will also add that I am, by no means, accusing you of doing anything
wrong in purchasing your current computer, as it's the developers' fault
for restricting freedom, not the users'.

How do you know that? Ubuntu enables the restricted and multiverse
repositories by default. Even if you managed to on
My software freedom is just fine as is anyone else's who use Ubuntu MATE.
The only non-free software I ama using is the fglrx driver for my AMD video
card. Why? Because the non-free driver allows the GPU to be used for
computing tasks such as BOINC projects utilizing it whereas the free dr

Indeed, you are correct that users are free to choose to use non-free
software, and nobody wants to take that away. Whether individuals or
groups developing or
This alpha version of LibreJS 6.0.6 now works with Tor (and in private mode):

Non-free compnents can be removed or even avoided which is the whole point of
freedom--the user choosing what to do.
Thanks very much for your input. I believe you're right about this line of
reputation. If I want any more info I should probably look into people's
experiences with OpenWRT.
Thanks a lot guys

Ubuntu MATE still contains all the nonfree components Trisquel GNU/Linux

I wonder about this, too. It's a useful feature of GNOME Shell.
We're the richer from your unintentional 'coming out.' And you're

We should report it as a bug.
I use glasses and with them on I see perfectly. I thought orca was pretty
annoying when i installed trisquel 'cause the vast majority of people are not
going to use it. But then on second thought i reckoned it was a good thing, a

Given it's such a new offering and LibreCMC is a new distro the best
answer I can give you is as far

Hi!
I was wondering if you know of any DVD cover for this new release, or maybe
one for the T6 release that i could adjust for this one.
Thanks!
Yet Another +1 for Orca on behalf of my Dad. It was important to his
sense of independence for a goodly amount of time.
Ubuntu MATE is pretty good...

Since I couldn't find any real reviews, I basically re-approprated those
comment threads to see if I could glean any objective info from them.
I'm upgrading from an 802.11g router which has handled well everything I've

Another +1 for Orca from me. I could "pass" for a sighted person until middle

Guys
Personally, when it comes to firewalls and routers, I choose my own cup of
tea.
Most of the current IPTABLES and firewall drivers are already GNU license.
Meaning they are free. That includes some WIFI and USB drivers under the GNU
licensing schemes.
As for my firewall I use IPFI
Found the solution in another site: Had to type ibus-daemon -d in Terminal to
start it.
I must have done that when I had it working before, but probably was reset
after upgrading Trisquel.
Did you remember to run this after un/commenting?sudo update-initramfs -u
I believe it's needed,
I'm not sure. It shows up in the list for me. I guess you can try purging and
reinstalling ibus-anthy; it can't hurt.
Aptana Studio is dually-licensed (the user chooses which one applies to her)
and one of the license is the GNU GPLv3: http://www.aptana.com/legal/
