If it is librebooted, then you have the option of replacing the WiFi

I am using two instances of Trisquel 8.0, one recently installed, the other one
installed shortly after its release. On the latter, only the "Home", "Desktop"
and "Documents" shortcuts are available in the Places menu of the menu bar. On
the other one, only "Home" and "Desktop" are available.
Installed within VirtualBox 6.1.0 running under Windows 10.
However, an ISO file that's included as IDE in the Trisquel-Mini VM
