Chris: Big thanks for that guide. That helps a lot. This will make it a lot
easier to find a printer.
I choose a ink printer because I dont print so much so filling ink isnt a big
problem. Lasers take long time to warm up and I tested to follow Chris guide
and cant find a Trisquel
I have looked and it seems that a HP printer supported by HPLIP isnt a
guarantee that it is supported by Trisquel. All Envy and almost all Officejet
that is in h-node database is supported.
My search is after a automatic duplex printer with scanner, USB and maybe
RJ45. I dont print so much
Great to see how Purism is expanding. People are expanding their view off
freedom and starting to take a stand. Starts to see the difference between
the compromising view of open source thinking to freedom thinking of free
software. I think Purism is trying to make the best that is possible

My comment regarding RMS comment A Systematic Effort To Attack GNU
Packages.
The system want power over the people at every level and that is why it
removes and attacks alternatives for freedom outside of the system. In
Sweden example the propaganda is hard regarding getting rid of cash.

They have had some updates of the hardware. Now 15 different keyboards.

Their is today more or less impossible to get a MBP 15 inch laptop
replacement. All other laptops have 16x9 screen and a numpad that moves the
keyboard and mousepad so it isnt in line with the screen. And other laptop
developers wonder why people like Apples hardware.
The laptop now upgraded to support 32GB of ram but still the upgraded CPU
that cant be upgraded. And still numpad and still 16x9 screen.

Looks like a Clevo laptop.
Good parts about the laptop:
- The effort of removing as much binary as possible (Coreboot)
- Looks like good hardware quality. In the area of Apple quality.
- Three USB ports.
- No VGA.
- No TXT, VT-d or vPro.
Questions:
- Matt or blank screen? Matt is better.

I have a couple of questions regarding the address book. I do not use any
online services.
1.
I use Gnome (3.12 right now) and want to use a clean installation as
possible. I want to use Gnome Contacts (Evolution Database Server, EDS?) and
sync Thunderbird to that address book database. I
This is how I installed Gnome 3.12.2 on Trisquel 7 20140807 testing version.
It have not been running for over one month. If this will work at Trisquel
6.0.1 I do not know. Try?
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3-staging
sudo apt-get install gnome-session gnome-shell
sudo apt-get
I can say that running Trisquel 7 20140807 and it works great. It fills all
my needs, in computing. T6.0.1 do not work because it do not support my
network card. The easy way out was T7.

I found a way to add programs to Startup Applications list. Start
gnome-tweak-tool from terminal and then I can add programs.
I am looking for a password manager that integrates with IceCat, with a menu
of choosing what account to login with that is good for example webmail.
Preferable that use the Evolution database that is standard in Gnome that use
the front end seahorse. The best alternative I have found is the
Updating Gnome removes Startup Applications under System Settings. Its only

happens when pushing that button. Before updating Gnome I don't have anything
called compton compositor under Startup Applications.

I tried this and it didn't work. I get to choose GNOME at login but only

Universal accessibility is a must by default. That limits the alternatives.
If LXDE and XFCE is regarding universal accessibility I do not know. Mini

Gluglug has updated and SSD is now 60GB, no extra (dock, mouse...) and a

The laptops are from UK and they have around the same keyboard layout as I

Was little afraid it would be the US layout.
I did some research and found that X60 has the problem with high pitch noise

I agree that that page needs some polishing, same as with the forum.
