Thanks. I tried adding myself to the translation team by e-mailing translations at trisquel dot info, but I keep getting my e-mail back with a Mail delivery failed message. Am I doing something wrong?

[Trisquel-users] Forum policies for proprietary software recommendations and/or instructions?

2013-09-21 Thread mve1
I'm quite new to these forums, so I apologize if this has been discussed before. What are the policies of the Trisquel forum regarding recommendations and/or tutorials for installing proprietary software on Trisquel? Is this the responsibility of a moderator? Do any guidelines exist for

I see. Thanks. It would be nice if those kinds of tutorials could be deleted.

Thanks, I will try. I am, in principle, completely against censorship. However, those kinds of tutorials just seem to defeat the whole purpose of free software, Trisquel and this forum. If someone wants to run proprietary software on Trisquel it is a personal choice. It seems to me

I guess we're really getting off topic from the original Mailpile post. For the record, I'm not a Marxist, but it does seem to me that anyone interested in political theory and history in particular and in other subjects more broadly would benefit from reading the ideas of Marx and others

Thanks for all the links. I've looked through them. It still doesn't seem to me that there is clear evidence that Wikileaks is a CIA front. I am still of the opinion that it is not. I insist that your view is too simplistic. Take real life events as an example: Take the Spanish Civil War and

Concerning WikiLeaks, Assange was not supposed to be persecuted by the USG, due to the fear that he might reveal what he knows. It's just something that, accidentally, happened. And, yes. I agree that this fact has left the USG with a bad (public) image. (But, don't do a lot of things that
