Don't worry, "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" is also going to Apple TV+ as well, and will get a similar three-day free window. In the official press release from Apple and Wildbrain, the Thanksgiving special is clearly mentioned and put on equal footing with "Great Pumpkin" and "Christmas."

The 2016 version was later played (edited, naturally) on CBS during a repeat slot.  They'll probably do so this year.Alas, Colbert is too wedded to CBS/Showtime political analysts for my tastes.  But I also think shows like The Circus are a symptom of our inadequate journalism in this area.
