I thought the idea of taking a break this soon was idiotic at first,
but it occurs to me now that it may be a great idea. Given the
developing meme that Conan's Tonight Show is a flop, this is an
excellent chance for the creative staff to step back, look at what's
working -- and what's not -- and
NBC - where they won't let new shows get in the way of bleeding ratings...
I still think it's stupid. Not as stupid as the CBS golf highlights in the
same timeslot, but damn close. I can't see enough people in the tennis
