other direction, if you can expound on that (or do a paint-over mockup)

I was drafting that mockup with a dust lite or dust metal in mind.
There's much more to be done 'till we get there, but IMHO it'd be
unacceptable to ship it without a light version--I'll definitely work on a
brighter variant of Dust.

It's the only way I can think of to make the toolbar look like that. ._.
