Yeah, that's the same situation I was in (mythbuntu
7.10 backend machine upgraded to .21, and Kubuntu 7.04
as the frontend machine). I went ahead and compiled
Mythtv from source and made a deb package using
checkinstall (until we get the official backport.)

I have Mythbuntu 7.10 Gutsy frontend that upgraded itself to Mythtv
v0.21, and now it can't access the database on my backend, which is
Kubuntu 7.04 Feisty. If I'd known that that they were incompatible I
