Ah -- apparently this is a known bug in Ubuntu-mac installations.If you get
rEFIt first, that can ease the pain.
In the end, I created a bootable rEFIt disk, used the partition tool on that
to synch the drive (the tool asked me if I would let it fix it I said
yes), and then restored the working

olá! bom dia... eu baixei o tema e tentei instalar mas ele deu uma msg:
Houve um erro ao instalar o arquivo selecionado Glattering-Xisberto
parece não ser um tema válido.
0bs. duvida: o arquivo nao precisa ser descompactado certo?

Oi Hálen,
Quando você executa um make dentro do diretório, uma série de compilações
são disparadas (uma para cada driver do pacote). Eu queria saber como está
ocorrendo a compilação. Eu não utilizei o apt-get do Ubuntu 8.10 para obter
o madwifi. Resolvi compilar diretamente da fonte. Em resumo:

Só um detalhe: a vídeo ECS é compatível ou tem drivers para o Ubuntu?
Dê uma olhada nisto antes de fechar.
Se alguém utilizar uma dessas, pode te dar uma idéia.

Dê uma olhada nisto antes de
Achei muita coisa, inclusive diretamente com a Nvidia, sobre drivers Linux
pra série 9600GT. um cara, conseguiu inclusive colocar uma placa irmã dessa,
modelo um bocadinho superior da ECS mesmo, num hackMac...
Acho que não vou ter grandes problemas...

maquina na rede, são as dependências para a compilação dos módulos do
kernel, o ideal seria você conseguir colocar sua maquina em uma rede com

Inicie seu micro com um live-cd de qualquer distro, e como root execute o
comando grub-install /dev/hda (hd ide) ou /dev/sda (hd sata).
Presumo que a partição linux esteja intacta, nesse caso nao sera
necessario mais configurações.
