Some update on this. Following the xulrunner update from 1.9.1.8 to 1.9.1.9 in Karmic today, Eclipse now crashes in exactly the same way with 1.9.1.9 as it does with 1.9.2 so it looks like that update solved the original xulrunner bug but the issue with libpango still remains. -- Eclipse crashes
