I've also seen this issue for a while now. Using NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M
and Intel graphics card Optimus setup with Bumblebee and proprietary
NVIDIA driver. Same result for using optirun. This affects all ad

So, I think I solved this now, and it's actually not a bug in linux but
a problem with bumblebee and the NVIDIA driver for my graphics card. Its
due to the fact that NVIDIA changed the driver name. Therefore Bumblebee
and as a result ACPI functions for my discrete graphics card didn't work

Regarding the bug you're pointing at, I'd like to mention that its
subject is about _some_ GNOME translations not being imported
correctly, not all of them. So far I know of evolution,
evolution-data-server and orca being affected. If
I'm pretty sure there are more packages affected then just Evolution and
Orca. For example I see this issue with »gtk-3.0-properties« [1]. This
is fully translated to German upstream in version 3.0 as well as in
later versions.

Capturing print job data gives me very strange results:
(1) When trying to print using Evince:
printout is a PDF file containing just a single white page which is
printed by the DCP395CN (well it just feeds an empty page but the
original document wasn't a white page).
(2) When trying to print

via USB with the following results (using TurboPrint driver):

in system-config-printer for my Epson Stylus D68 PE it says Job sent as
… but nothing is in printing queue and my printer doesn't do anything.

I installed all updates from your PPA but still none of the two buttons
is working. I also noticed that I cannot get ink levels. This problem
already occured before installing TurboPrint. Using TurboPrint's control
panel these functions work without problems. Escputil doesn't give me an
error,
