There is no oops. Just a bunch of seg faults reported in the kernel log.
The dmesg log for that has already been attached.
The console merely shows three/four 'Segmentation Fault' messages, and I

I have similar problem with driver i810 after upgraded from Feisty to Gutsy.
The laptop hangs very randomly with the error XAA: Evicting pixmaps in the
/var/log/Xorg.0.log log file
Another problem is: I cannot switch to console mode (ctrl+alt+F1) the
screen remains blank or with distort images.
