Hi, I added a bug watch to the Debian bug. This is done by clicking on

Got the same problem here :( I also tried to fix the dsdt-table with a
custom kernel which didn't fix anything. Using another kernel as the
2.6.39 results in a black screen directly on boot which can only be
worked by by disabling KMS. Is there any chance of getting this to work

Yes, I have seen the post you mention. I tried to change themes, and the
behaviour did not change. What I can not answer is why it works if I
compile the code myself.
