AFAIK yes, the last version was released in March 2013. And the Git shows
source code changes just few days ago. But weirdly, the gthumb package with

On my pro PC, I'm testing right now the last version, released the 3rd of

Add radeon.audio=1 to GRUB kernel boot options could make DP audio work.

You should be able to install that package against a saucy+gnome3-next
install
So do that, if it works, I will look into wither uploading to the ppa or
perhaps archives (but we a are well past feature freeze now)
