VirtualBox on my laptop.
Step 5 said:
"Select Erase disk and install Kubuntu
Installation screen expands to include encryption and LVM options"
But the Installation Type screen layout was not like this.

Thankyou though very much for your advice, and everything is ok now as I
was using a
16.10 system and it got updated to 17.10 system, I think, and firefox 57
was part of the
upgrade. So thanks again,

I think I just had a huge breakthrough, after installing a kernel 4.14.0
with all of the patches referenced here, suddenly the touchpad was
working. I went ahead and rebooted and sure enough the touchpad was not
working again. Then I thought, what if I suspend the computer? And sure

The availability of VPN should not have to depend on another interface
being managed by Network Manager. Detection of the other device's state

When coping to any (flash drive or USB external hard disk ) USB device:
1.Display bar proceeds normally until near end stops and displays X for
an increasingly long time depending on size of file (less than 4Gib ).

I tried boot into linux via netboot but secure boot forbids me from install
anything. I can boot into grub but "ls -l" command to get UUID doesn't work for
the same reason.
Can you tell us how to boot into linux to get UUID with secure boot
enabled? Or do you have an alternative solution?

Would it be possible to change the UUID of the EFI partition, when having the
disk in question mounted/connected as an external drive?
