I found that if i set the texture quality of open arena to low, i don't
have the problem. So the problem is only there with 'big' textures. In
other 3d applications it is not always possible to set this texture
quality so the problem is still there.

I seem unable to crash my system on the moment
I'll post my kern.log as soon as my system crashes.
I'm a little confused about the way i am supposed to use those combo-key's.
Because the first thing that happens when my system crashes is the keyboard
stops working

I used memtest and the memory was fine
when i fallow the directions on the page
(https://help.ubuntu.com/community/DebuggingSystemCrash)
Control+Alt+F1 ( gives a black screen no text input possible or text visible)
I get back to my gnome interface whit Control+Alt+F7
The other combo-key's don't

I Just did a update and my system wanted to restart. After the restart
no sound at all. it says that it cant find sound controls or devices for
GStreamer.
