Testing today on a daily build of Kubuntu 20.04 I observed the same issue.
Linux version 5.4.0-14-generic, linux-firmware/focal,now 1.186.
I did a CRC check on the oland_rlc.bin file in linux-firmware 1.186 and
it was the same as from the one in linux-firmware/bionic-updates
1.173.
There are two separate issues presented here now and it has become
confusing to the person it was assigned to. The original issue was the
latest firmware update: linux-firmware 1.173.15 with the current HWE
5.3.0-40-generic kernel causing issues with the AMD Oland graphics.

I can confirm that rolling back to linux-firmware=1.173.12 solves the
issue with Kernel: 5.3.0-40-generic x86_64.

downloaded the recorded video from it to my Ubuntu 18.04. Its an MP4
format but when I play the video using the Ubuntu default video
application the synchronization of the Audio/Video does not match to

I finally got a chance to try the alsamixer fix, and it worked.
I had to go into alsamixer, find HP/Speaker settings, which both were
defaulted to MM, and press the M-key to change the values to 00, and
then that seemed to work.

Sorry I haven't updated this bug in a little while. I did try the
"position_fix=1" and "=4" suggestions, to no avail. I am pretty busy and
haven't had a chance to mess around with the computer much as of late,
but there are a few things I'm going to try, and if I find a viable
solution to the issue

I don't even have the option under connector to switch to "Analog
Speakers" instead of "Analog Headphones". Only "Analog Headphones" show
regardless of if they are plugged in or not.

[IDT 92HD75B3] Line out does not mute internal speakers

Specifically, the Weather applet gives error: "Network error in Weather.
Could not retrieve weather data. You may be experiencing connectivity
issues." It gives this error when I search for a location and when it
polls for new weather data.
I have env variables set for my proxy server, as well as
I'm also behind a proxy, and I'm finding AWN applets (python driven)
also fail because of this bug. This is reported as Bug #185206, and I
think updating Oneiric's python to include this fix would squash many
bugs with one shoe, so to speak.

Importance: Undecide
Removing the files in /var/crash (which included apport reports) seems
to have fixed the issue for me, as well.
