What I had hoped for was that my home folder consists of 1 main folder
ian. That is sub-divided into four separate folders. In addition there
is a fifth folder which is in its self sub-divided into three further
categories.

I revisited this section and could replicate what you stated.
When I placed the cursor above a folder as you describe I was able to
see the pop up giving the two options and found that I could colour the
folder as a single folder.
It appears that I have possibly miss-understood the
Artur
That is fine by me. My remark was only made as it was a duplication of
effort. I suppose that there might be someone who wants it as a stand
alone item.
