The output to the bluetooth headset is managed by gstreamer. Try
launching the device selector with command gstreamer-properties. I am
not sure if Skype uses gstreamer but most other applications like totem,
rhythmbox, ekiga, gnomeradio should use the default devices set in
gstreamer prefe

Now that obex-data-server is in 'New' queue, I have tried packaging the
latest bluez-gnome version 0.21 and also done some marginal testing
(pairing and PC-to-phone transfer via the 'Send file ...' menu in
applet). I hope Baptiste you don't mind me hijacking your work. :-)

'Browse Device' is not for bluetooth input devices. It is for browsing
phones/pda. And even in that case it doesn't work because nautilus does
not use gnome-vfs anymore and the extension that is supposed to let you
'Browse Device' is not yet ported.

As far as I know. You don't need hidd and pand binaries now. It is all
some sort of dbus magic now. Previously *.service and bluetoothd-
service-* files were missing.

Please find attached the fix that should actually fix this bug and bug #191704.
Please note that I couldn't actually test the HID problem mentioned in the
other bug as I don't have bluetooth input devices.

Hardy has groovy currently at 1.5.2-1 (Debian has 1.5.4-1). Check bug #185016.
But it has FTBFS due to absense of libxstream-java.. So it is necessary to sync
libxstream-java.
