I'll +1 this thread. Strangest thing though. Earlier this week I spun
up four different VMs from the image 'ubuntu-16.04.1-server-amd64.iso'.
All configured and updated exactly the same. They continue to work
great. Today, on the same VM server, I created another VM EXACTLY the

You can cancel this bug report. It was one of a series of errors that came
up during installation that turned out to be the result of a faulty
keyboard. I don't think that it is worth investigating further unless I can
reproduce it.

Bob - This issue seems to have magically disappeared for me - I'm now
running 9.04, so maybe the fix was in one of the updates for that?
