over night. I had normally shutdown the system and the next day after
booting the panels were missing. Entering xfce4-panel has restored

But the question remains why Listen requires this package for playing
MP3 while Totem doesn't need it.

Well, all I can say is, that during all those years I experienced Ubuntu to
fail to finish its installation, whenever I tried to get it on my HDD the way I
needed it to be, SuSE didn't have that problem, using the very same conditions.
Out of desperation I now switched to Linux Mint, which is

The problems happens both in Gutsy (adept 2.1.3ubuntu17.1) and Hardy (adept
2.1.3ubuntu23).
The behaviour depends on what button I press:
- Undo: the button deactivates, and Redo activates;
- Fetch Updates: adept starts fetching updates, then crashes (backtrace
attached);
- Preview Changes:

That's what I was originally wondering.
If they exist for BSD, is there a license issue that restricts them from
being added to the man pages for the Linux counterparts of the same
commands.
If noting the license difference is all that is required, why aren't more of
the undocumented commands in

Yes, it worked also for me this way. However, if the drive isn't
formatted with NTFS it works straightforward, so I guess it is a problem
with the way KDE deals with fuse filesystems on external drives
