when rhythmbox is open, playing music, selecting Quit from the File menu
terminates the process and hereby stops the playback, too.
Quit should always mean quit = terminate the process and remove it from me
same here in 12.04:
after boot, i press play once, no launches but doesn't play.
then, after quitting rhythmbox via File>Quit, i can launch & start playing
automatically with a single click onto the play button in indicator sound.

i think the static buttons should be styled differently, in that they are no
launchers and are not styled as such.
the Trash e.g. should not have a background, its icon should be directly on the
sidebar.
