Couldn't repeat this bug for a while now. It might be fixed, but I am
not really convinced yet, since Bug 399573 it still there. Can someone

On my ecafe ec-900 Netbook, when useing Touchpad, the coursor sometimes
becomes jumpy then sometimes doubleclick with one touch. This gets worse
until Touchpad completly lockup and the Keyboard also. USB-

This might help. I just connected a different Monitor and surprising the
blank screen is gone, with this Monitor but the resolution is wrong. The
Problem isn't solved yet but this might narrow things down.

Booting always result with a blank screen. Livecd as well after a
upgrade from jaunty.
Turning KMS off with option i915.modeset=0 works to get a picture on
screen, and load X.

long time and maybe they won't wait a next time after that -> corrup

I just got a good screen. I tried "vga=0x0301" at kernel prompt.
Without kernelparameter the screen is to messed up to see anything. I
wouldn't be able to give lspci output or Xorg.0.log.
All fine now. The VX800 Chipset is now supported by Openchrome and
Kernel 2.6.28, I think. Things might work

Today a new BIOS was released and I tested the daily build cd. No
changes. The Textmode-Installer or the BIOS is still broken

Update: I downgraded the BIOS of my device and now the Display shows a
nice looking menu at the intrepid-alternate-cd.
I might have read somewhere that the newer BIOS should fix a Bug with
resuming from standby in Linpus Linux. The question is now where exactly
is the bug and how to fix it?

If I unmount a removable device (f.a. usb-stick) then the message "The
device is now safe to remove" doesn't always appear. It might only
appear if data have to be written to the device, but it should always
inform the user when the device has been unmounted, I think.

I Firefox3 was still open when I was about to restart the System. When I
hit hit restart, a Firefox dialog appears and asked me if I want to
Save&Exit. I confirmed and hit save. Firefox closed, but
I couldn't really follow the howto and got stuck at the " Package
xserver-xorg-video-ati backported from gutsy and compiled with --enable-
dri ". However, I just installed the "Hardy" - Alpha and of course no
