Well, if the user set it to 10 secs they probably want it to be 10
seconds.
Also, the actual timing is off. For example during the countdown, gdm
auto logs the user in after 8 seconds, so the timing is still off.

3d windows plugin on, but the same thing happens even without it.
Perhaps it's because of my Ati Radeon 7200 card? Check xorg.conf for

Hello, I had Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon 7.10 but I upgraded to Hardy Beta 8.04.
The tooltip that's shown when hovering the mouse over the workspace
switcher blinks too much, just slightly moving it a pixel causes the
tooltip to get redrawn. This shouldn't happen, and is annoying.
Persists on gutsy beta, which is 2.22.0-0ubuntu1.

Ok, I upgraded to Hardy today and the problem is gone. Sorry for taking
your time.
But on Gutsy, I just had an image on my desktop and I renamed it, which
caused the thumbnail to be replaced by a default image, and back into
the thumbnail. But the problem is gone in 2.22, so nothing to worry

The real tjw-client also did this. I switched to the trem-servers one
because I got an error: A reliable command cycled out so I did a
google search and that client prevented it. I tried doing an strace but
eventually the log file got 500MB in size and I still had no crash. I'll
try to pipe out
