Thanks for your feedback, I fixed a number of bugs in the scripts that generate the ddtp translations recently and hope to do anohter upload soon. I already uploaded it to jaunty, to test just switch (temporarely) to jaunty, apt-get update and use apt-cache (or synaptic) to browse the descriptions.

Thanks for your bugreport. I debugged this behavior today and it seems to be caused by a "feature" in the script that builds the translations file for apt. It used to only add a package to this translations file if all the bits of its description were translated. This caused a lot of packages like
