Hi I have encountered the exact same bug in Ubuntu Hardy LTS 8.04 while
trying to install Office 97 from scratch in Wine on a user account; I
have encountered the bug on two different PCs. However this might help
in finding the problem: on both of these PCs I had some users with the

since installing libflashsupport and nspluginwrapper on my AMD64 Hardy

It would be ideal if that not-very-helpful-message displayed the list of
processes hanging onto the volume. Plus, there should be the option to
do a lazy unmount of that drive (umount -l). In such cases that's what
I'm doing anyway via terminal.

First, the Intuos3 works out of the box for me. The strip works, the
