It's P1005, P1006, P1007, P1008, P1009. The rendering resolution should
still be 1200×600, but the printing resolution reported to printer
should be set to 600×400.
What foo2xqx does currently is render in 600×600 and report 600×600. It
works for M1005, but not for P series.

[Impact]
There is a notion of "server" and "desktop" mode in upgrades. This is a
historical concept, with little apparent difference in behavior today.
When running an upgrade in e.g. a LXD container, one normally sees in
the logs:
DEBUG need_server_mod
This is hidden by https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-
release-upgrader/+bug/2110594, but when that is fixed, this needs to go
along with it.

Several HP platforms have a design change that eDP is connected to DP1
instead of DP0.
Because of this amdgpu needs a quirk to know to find eDP on DP1.

Yeah, I am able to reproduce this now by just installing a new 24.10 VM

However, I observed that the error window can simply be closed and

I need to understand if the impact can be larger than that in other
cases.
David - In your case, did the upgrader actually stop itself and return
an error? Or did you see the message, kill the upgrade, and report the
bug?
