I've installed the iofix+19.28 kernel for Lucid from Brian Rogers. So
far, it seems to work. When the machine is booting up, it still seems
to have the problem, however. iotop (which now works appropriately)
reports the [kdmflush] service as consuming 99.99% I/O when the system
is unresponsive,

I'm not convinced this is a Firefox bug. Firefox sets WM_NAME to the the
string it wants to be in the titlebar (which is correct, and also what
every other application is doing). The applications aren't setting any
super name or application title as you call it, but gnome-shell
looks like it is

Seems to happen frequently when resuming. Close lid on laptop, wait a
while, open laptop. Also seem to have a crash already on startup fairly
often. No obvious symptoms of things breaking after the crash.

While trying to extract a file within a RAR compressed file, by using
the Extract here option from Nautilus (Nautilus 2.30.1) in Ubuntu
10.04, it did not extract the file to the folder, instead I get the
