From your reply (which I misinterpreted) I thought that it is not
possible to have a 64-bit package. I am no expert but there are various
32-bit apps that run under 64-bit OSes. This is why I gave it a try.
Excuse my ignorance and thank you for your time :-)

documentation?
Thanks, Nikos

Sorry for the 2nd post: I am confused. Is this about scaling the sensor
readings to have actually ambient light adjust the brightness
(display/keyboard) or not?

It still would take to install python-support (= 0.90.0) first. In the
repositories only version 0.87 is available ( I think ). Maybe I'll give
it a try some time within the next days.

I would expect another error than the following:
Error: Dependency is not satisfiable: python-support (= 0.90.0) .
Isn't this supposed to be covered by the python-support package found in
the repositories?

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
This is a wish! I would like to be able to define via the power-manager
a custom notification (time, text, etc.) when the battery is let's say
at 50%.
The reason is simple: when working for longer periods on AC it is wise
to remove
Currently I use tomboy 0.15 (compiled/installed from source) which runs
fine. I miss the tomboy-applet for gnome-panel so I created a custom
launcher.

I just want to report that I have reboot working on the MB-P5,1. Don't
know what exactly was the fix. All i did is:
* updates/ dist-upgrades
* latest PulseAudio stuff
* drop Xinerama and user TwinView (much more faster/ smoother)
Best regards, Nikos
