It is so nice having scrolling back. In fact
I just got my Dell E6400, and did try suspend and resume once, and it
worked for me, but I only tried it once. I am using Intripid Ibex and
my kernel is given by:
$ uname -r
2.6.27-3-generic
Hope this helps!

suspend/resume broken on dell Latitude E6400 kernel 2.6.27-3
I'm running Hardy, and having problems with this. To duplicate this,
you can start jack with qjackctl, and use jack audio analyzer (jaaa -J)
connected so that there should be a signal. Here are the messages I
get:
Jul 14 10:52:08 frohro-d600 kernel: [ 53.921537] PCI: Enabling device
I did run f-spot --debug from the terminal, and it said nothing about
the problem. The offending computer is at home and I'm at the office,
but I can supply the output from there.

Public bug reported:
I have been trying to get the Echo Indigo IO sound card to start up
again after suspend. I find that /etc/init.d/alsa-utils stop doesn't
stop it, though that seems to work on my internal sound. I find that
/etc/init.d/alsasound stop does indeed stop it, but
I find that if I just remove the Indigo IO card without stopping
anything and re-insert it, I can suspend while it is removed, and it
works when re-inserted. I would much prefer to be able to just leave
it in and set up the suspend scripts to take care of it though.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: ubuntu-desktop
The document displayed when you press the Help button in the Sound
preferences (Sysem-Preferences-Sound) seems to be out of date, as it
refers to buttons and panels that are not there, and doesn't have any
help for a lot of what is there.
I compiled from the SVN trunk and the bug still exists for me. I forwarded the
bug upstream as well.

Here is the result from the debug command for f-spot. I just started
