Sorry, but the Bug is not fix in the package kile - 1:2.1.0-1build1 on
Kubutnu 11.10 Oneric 64bit!
I have updated to kile - 1:2.1.0-1build1 and nothing is changed. Kile
don't display and insert symbols.

An upgrade to KDE 4.6.4 doesn't fixes the Problem with blur for me.
Without blur Kwin is fast and stable.

Same Problem in Kubuntu amd64 11.04:
KPackageKit could not update the flashplugin-installer: No error during
update with KPackageKi, but the new flashplugin will not downloaded and
installed.
This Problem happens only on 64bit Kubuntu installations.

I found a solution for KDE and Kwin:
You have to deactivate the Effect BLUR (german: Verwischen).
After this and activate Kwin everything works normal.
But note, Blur was still working in the release before (Maverick).

The new kile (1:2.1.0~svn2010122beta5-1ubuntu1) oneiric works in natty too.
It works exactly the same like my self installed version beta 5 from source.
But note, the normal words autocompletion from kate part don't popup
automatic.
But this is a bug in kate and not in kile, because in
You can make normal word autocompletion working in Kile or Kate, by
setting the minimum word length to 0 or 1.

Manuel upgrade (cmake from source-package) to kile beta 5 and
autocompletion works again (and search in project files works first time
correct).
So, could the developer please update the kile package.
