Стоит xubuntu 7.04 с работающим Beryl и всеми его возможностями , карточка
ATI radeon 9200 (пришлось попотеть для установки:)).
Установил рядом kubuntu 7.10.
Вопрос: можно ли простым перемещением conf и соответствующих файлов
добится того же на новой версии или необходимо пройти
покопайся в конфиге alsa - в регуляторах громкости к примеру или alsamixer и
залезь в настройки плеера - аудиовывод -поставь там правильное устройство.

Все уже установлено и работает. Без поддержки APIC. Compiz не работает, и
сдается мне, что это именно из-за отсутствия поддержки ядром моего APIC.

Je n'aimerai pas savoir si c'est possible car je sais que sous linux TOUT
est possible :-P Mais j'aurai aimer savoir comment faire pour exécuter une
application graphique (type VLC, Firefox...) à distance...

only Windows and MacOS operating systems.
Looks like there is a bug, but in services.aamc.org, not in ubuntu neither
