Matthew: inconsistent here means that the strings are almost identical.
If they were, we would not need to translate them twice. Can they be
made identical, or that little difference really means so much?

@Martin: just checked, we have approximately 30 complete translations, and the
4 new strings would require translations in at least these languages, and maybe
the better strings are not worth breaking the translations, so I think we can
wait until OO is released, and merge the new strings
It's not a translation mistake. The current translation from 2008-12-02
in Launchpad reads Mathematischer WYSIWYG-Texteditor mit TeX-
Schriften. I can see the wrong translation in Ubuntu Software-Center
though. Maybe the translation has been fixed and the package
descriptions haven't been updated
