Before you all start hounding me, yes, I do understand that Creative sound cards have practically no support in Ubuntu versions prior to Karmic (which I'm told does have support for them). I'll start from the very beginning :-) Fresh install of 9.04 Installed Display Driver (nVidia 180)

I use Gmail with Gcal as it now has Google Docs enabled in which you can add a document to an event and then send an email as well, in which you can then add to Gtasks as well and works really quickly, the you can also send it to your mobile at a set time, which is really useful! Also you can

OK I am still working on this. got as far today as: sudo modprobe rt73 then a restart with it plugged in. it booted up with the dongle alive (a first) also found wireless networks in network-manager (a first) but trying to connect and it just hangs whilst connecting... it never gets anywhere.
