I received the same error with Ubuntu 10.10 and everything updated to the lastest versions today. I found that disabling Xinerama stopped the problem from occurring. My backtrace was almost identical to that above on 11/23/2010. My NVidia drivers are: 260.19.06 running on 64-bit system. I found

I had the same problem with a P7P55D-E-Premium mother board running 64 bit versions of both Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10. No issue with Ubuntu 9.10. Switching to a USB mouse would make the mouse work but of course not the keyboard. I understand the asus_atk0110 driver gives information for the fans.
