Ah, at the line where it says 'Please enter a perl binary to use (defaults to /usr/bin/perl)', I've assumed the default is the correct one so I've just hit enter. However if I try 'cd /usr/bin/perl' it comes back with no such file or directory. Could this be the issue? PS I haven't a clue where

Hi. I've reproduced the problem on a Mandriva 10.2 standard install. After installing slimserver (version 6.1.1-1), it crashes at startup with the same error message as you've got. It happens that slimserver cannot load the DBD::SQLite module. That's normal, it is not installed on my computer. So
